The “Syrian Electronic Army” leaked Turkish PMO Email addresses
A statement on behalf of the Syrian Electronic Army claims the group has broken into the Turkish Prime Minister’s server.
A tweet dated June 5th linked to a file containing 67 email addresses and passwords apparently originating from the ministry; the mail server’s address was also published.
In February, the Syrian Electronic Army broke into the server of the Israeli “Haaretz” daily newspaper, as well as that of Israel’s Ministry of Transport. The group published email addresses and screen-shots of the servers.
Email exchanges and documents from the hacked Turkish government side may begin leaking in coming days, as happened in previous cases of break-ins of mail servers of various institutions and bodies in the Middle East.
