Security breach at the American Jupiner company
Jupiner, a U.S.-based multinational company dedicated to system networks and security (dedicated to security in the US, or based in the US?) has been breached by a suspected group of foreign hackers, according to a December 19 report on HackRead ‘Hackeread security is a myth’ website.
“The compromised equipment could allow hackers to spy on any company of the U.S. and government agencies” (is this an accurate quote??), according to the report. The website also added that that the hackers were suspected to be Chinese and Russian. Jupiner is currently working on the case.
The most worrying, according to HackRead, is that the company is provides services to important commercial and government companies int he U.S.. In an important announcement to its customers on December 17 2015, Jupiner recommended its clients to update the system and apply a patch with the highest priority. Despite the reported breach, the company received no immediate reports of vulnerabilities.
