Things you Need to Know about Internet in Mexico

We regularly read about cyber and the Internet in countries like United States, China, and Russia. However, there are more countries that are developing this area. This is the case of Mexico, a large country with a vast culture in which technologies are growing no so quickly, though no so slowly.

Internet in Mexico is PARTLY FREE, according to the latest Freedom House´s data. Moreover, in accordance with the National Poll about Availability and Use of Technology at Home (ENDUTIH) 2016 by the Mexican institute INEGI, were registered 65.5 millions of people from 6 year old and more users of Internet, which represents the 59.5% of population.

The principal reason why the other 40.1% of homes in México do not have Internet conextion is because they cannot pay the service. On the other hand, the citizens who have access, use it to communicate (88.9%), get information (84.5%) and access audio visual content (81.9).
