2003-2004 Desk officer for China, South Korea and Mongolia at the Northeast Asia Department.

2004-2006 Deputy Director of the Internet and Information Department in the Public Diplomacy Division.

2006-2010 Deputy Ambassador at the Israeli Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal.

2010-2012 Deputy Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Policy Department Strategic Division.
